‘ All the 17 deaths took place on the voyage to Japan of a party of approx. 750, comprising of parties 25 and 29 inclusive from Number 2 Group Camp in Thailand.
The original list with a report on the conditions of the voyage was handed in to British interrogation authorities at the reception camp for the Japanese Prisoners of War, Manilla, September 1945.’
