SINGAPORE MEMORIAL

 

 

The Miyo Maru sustained damage in Typhoon after leaving Manilla to Taiwan. Transferred in Manilla to Tamahoko Maru with Taiwan PoWs (total 772 PoWs). Sunk 1944/06/24 approx. 40 Miles S.W. of Nagasaki. Lost 560 PoWs.
