Pete was killed at RAF Tengah when a Venom aircraft hit his Landrover on the night of 25th April 1957 killing both Pete and SAC Ledson.

Pete’s funeral was at Bukit Timah Military Cemetary

In the 1960s all graves were exhumed and were reinterred at Kranji.
