Left Changi 1942/10/18, commander Lt-Col. J. Bassett, R.A., 35 L.A.A.. Dying with 517 other gunners, the remains of those found are laid to rest at 12 mile north of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. CWGC have his date of death as 1942/10/18.
