Left Changi 1942/10/18, commander Lt-Col. J. Bassett, R.A., 35 L.A.A.. Dying with 517 other gunners, the remains of those found are laid to rest at 12 mile north of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. CWGC has DoD as 1942/03/05.
