This draft included 563 Canadian and British PoWs
Off Taiwan the engines gave out and the men were transferred to the Toyama Maru which then sailed to Japan.

PoWs worked for Daido Electric Steel Company and made wheels at the Nippon Wheel (Vehicle) Mfg. Company
1945/04/06 - Jurisdiction and name changed to Nagoya 2B - Narumi
1945/09/02 - Food drops by B-29s 315 Bomb Wing
1945/09/06 - Liberated
Repatriation
'USS Admiral Hughes'
1945/09/24 - Departed Manila
1945/10/09 - British disembarked Victoria, Canada.
British then entrained to the East Coast.
Transported in Queen Elizabeth to Southampton.
*As Robert disembarked at Victoria, Canada while being Repatriated it is possible it is the reason for the Japanese 10 yen paper money being in the Canadian Wrens possession.
* It is also possible that being with Canadian PoWs, it was handed to a Canadian PoW as a keepsake.

1946 - Robert married Joan L D Mackenzie in Surrey
