This is called Mystery Party 2, as the PoWs on reaching Singapore were left on board the Yoshida Maru till the Singapore Maru berthed. Therefore no roll records of the PoWs in this Java Transport were made at Changi.
1942/10/29 - Singapore Maru returned to Singapore from previous transportation from Java (Java Party 5A) and PoWs from Changi and the Yoshida Maru embarked and were transported to Japan. In this transport the conditions on board were terrible.
