1942/10/14 - Transferred by rail to Thailand to work on the Burma Thai railway. He was allocated to Construction Gp I. The only railway camp he lists on his liberation questionnaire is Non-Pladuck at the southern end of the line. It is likely that he spent all of this period at this camp.
1945 - Transferred to Ubon where the POWs laboured on the construction of an airstrip.
